With a background in Art, Human Rights and Social Work, My approach to Yoga is one that integrates emotion, thought and action into the discovery of one's greatness.
I encourage my students to awaken their own power, recognize their inner teacher, develop their talents and connect to life with a kind, compassionate and loving heart. I believe that a better world with less suffering and endless possibilities for all is possible by transforming ourselves from the heart, by building community and collectively taking action.
My intention is to bring the essence of Yoga into a simple practical way of living through the cultivation of awareness, food education and soulful practices. My classes include philosophy, breath work, mantra, meditation and movement.
I completed Kula Yoga Shala's 200 Hour Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training in December 2014 and have continued my education since then, taking workshops, immersions and other onsite / online Yoga Teacher Trainings with qualified teachers such as Douglas Brooks, Jordan Bloom, Russill Paul, Sadie Nardini and Tyler McCoy.
